Toenail Fungus Prevention Tips
1. Whenever possible, get your feet out of sweaty shoes and socks and keep them dry. Fungus loves to grow in warm damp environments and having your nails surrounded by such elements increases risk significantly. If necessary, bring an extra pair of socks to work and change in the middle of the day.
2. Use a dry foot powder to help keep your feet dry while and/or after you are exercising. A generic foot powder like Johnson & Johnson’s Baby Powder will help absorb some of the moisture that creates the opportune breeding ground for fungal agents.
